Spellbound Publications is proud to present Out of the Blue, The Oasis Photographs. The culmination of two years work which brings together an important collection of iconic artworks, from the lens of Michael Spencer Jones.
In a five year journey, which began in 1993 with a photo-shoot at Manchester's Out of the Blue studios; Michael Spencer Jones worked closely with Oasis, becoming their official photographer and creating a series of truly iconic images which adorned their first 3 albums and accompanying singles.
Michael also travelled extensively with the band accumulating a huge photographic archive of over 8,000 images. For the first time, Out of the Blue assembles the very best from this archive, to produce a remarkable book to accompany this stunning portfolio.
In a highly collectible edition of just 250 copies worldwide, Out of the Blue presents both the art collector and music fan with a unique opportunity to own a treasured piece of rock'n'roll history.
The portfolio comprises 10 signed limited edition photographs of Oasis' iconic sleeve artwork, each individually mounted.

The book represents the most definitive pictorial history of Oasis ever published.
Unlike no other photographer, Michael Spencer Jones had unprecedented access to Oasis; backstage, in the studio, in concert and on their days off.
The photo's featured in this book, the majority of which have never been seen before, have been carefully selected from Michael's vast Oasis archive.
A revealing 12,500 word text written by Michael of his experiences with the band and the challenges in creating the covers, also accompanies the book and makes for a fascinating read.
The book has been printed and bound by Grafiche Milani of Italy, one of the world's leading makers of fine limited edition books.
In order to house both the artwork and book, a beautiful and stylish bespoke solander box was designed.
Lined with a dark blue sil-suede and individually hand crafted in durable dark blue pellaq.
The book is housed in it's own 'secret' compartment beneath the limited edition photographs.
The first 50 copies of the portfolio collection form the Deluxe Edition and come with an additional 5 signed limited edition photographs each individually mounted (making 15 in total); featuring the original cover artwork for Live Forever, Some Might Say, D'You Know What I Mean?, All Around The World and the original previously unreleased night cover shot for Oasis'
album Be Here Now.
