This previously unseen photograph of David Bowie was taken during his Isolar II world tour in 1978 whilst he was still living in his modest apartment in the Schöneberg district of Berlin. The song Heroes had just been released six months previously and he was already involved in his next project Lodger which would be released the following year. This is Bowie at the height of his creative powers and every bit the musical genius.
