Arguably Oasis’ most iconic cover. Shot on location in the early hours of Sunday morning on 23rd July 1995 in Berwick Street, Soho by Michael Spencer Jones. It is almost miraculous that one of the busiest streets in London was completely free of any vehicles at the time of shooting. The person seen to the left in the background is producer Owen Morris holding the master tape of the newly finished album. The image has become almost synonymous to the nineties and a whole generation of music lovers.
